UW Medicine and ADRC researchers have published the first-ever study to assess the impact of exome genetic testing and counseling for individuals living with cognitive impairment due to a neurodegenerative condition. High levels of reported participant satisfaction suggest that the practice can be used effectively in this population in a clinical setting.
