College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP)
CAMP is a federally funded program designed to assist first-year college students from migrant and seasonal farm worker families pursue higher education. Established nationally in 1972, CAMP is now part of the University of Washington and offers pre-college transition and first year assistance to help students develop the skills necessary to insure continued enrollment and eventual graduation.

Samuel E. Kelly Ethnic Cultural Center (Kelly ECC)
The ECC has a wealth of resources and opportunities available to students including student advising, organizational development, personal growth, and referrals to different departments and programs.
The Center represents a “home away from home” to many of our ECC students. The Center has been a place where students can find familiar faces similar to themselves, staff that care about their academic and personal well-being, and where students can meet, interact, hang out, and build community. ECC is also a place where you can learn leadership development skills, share and understand different cultural perspectives, and become future leaders of tomorrow.

The goals and objectives of the HSCMSP are to increase diversity at each level of academia by helping to bridge subsequent levels of academic training from undergraduate to professional and graduate.

Instructional Center (IC)
Our commitment is to assist students in getting the academic assistance they need in a positive and efficient manner. The front desk is where students request to use the Center for tutoring, other instruction, or computer lab usage.
UW Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP)
The purpose of LSAMP is to increase the recruitment, retention, and graduation rate of underrepresented students in the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

OMA&D Counseling Services
Program staff offer one-on-one advising and assistance to UW students, particularly students from low-income families, students who will be the first in their family to graduate from a four-year college, and under-represented minority students.
Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)
The EOP’s Academic Advising and Counseling Center promotes academic success & graduation for under-represented ethnic minority, economically disadvantaged and generation college students at the University of Washington through a comprehensive academic support program of services, provides a supportive learning environment integrating holistic counseling with personalized academic career advising and maintains strong liaisons with University departments, colleges programs. Serves on various academic committees and student/community organizations to support our students’ academic success.

Student Support Services at the University of Washington serves 300 low-income, first-generation and/or disabled students each year. UW/SSS provides holistic and comprehensive advising and instructional support, in order to help students be successful at and graduate from the University of Washington. GO! Global scholarships help undergraduate students with significant financial need access international learning opportunities. We strive to make study abroad inclusive for all by increasing financial support, adding resources for students, and strengthening the diversity of the UW Global Affairs program.
Ronald E. McNair Scholars
The Ronald E. McNair Program prepares undergraduates for doctoral study through involvement in research and scholarly activities. The purpose of the McNair Program is to assist in the academic and professional development of undergraduates whose goals are to teach and research at the college level.
Early Identification Program
A thriving economic and social future requires a commitment to making advanced educational opportunities available to all individuals, especially those facing obstacles in our educational system. In response to that need, the University of Washington’s Early Identification Program for Graduate and Professional Studies encourages and assists undergraduates from educationally and economically disadvantaged backgrounds to enter graduate school.
