Health & Life Science Mentorship Program
Industry Mentorship Programs are a great way for students to learn about an industry and explore professional development topics through small group mentoring (3-5 students per mentor). Through experiences both in the classroom and with a mentor, participants will gain insight and guidance about a particular industry, explore topics related to professional preparation, networking and feedback, and reflect on how their experiences and interests can translate to a career in the field.
There are a broad range of non-clinical opportunities in health and life science, many of which do not require advanced degrees. Seattle is home to many healthcare organizations, labs, research centers, and biotechnology companies, with a variety of opportunities available: research, training and development, financial management, human resources, client support, marketing, and so much more!
Join this winter quarter program to learn more about non-clinical roles in health and life science fields. Students will indicate areas of interest within tech during the application process – Research / Science; Business / Operations; Advocacy / Communications; Compliance / Regulation / QA & QC.
Deadline to apply is November 8th. Learn more at – https://careers.uw.edu/industry-mentorship-programs/
