About TRIO SSS

The TRIO Student Support Services programs (SSS/SSS-STEM) at the University of Washington serves over 420 low-income, first-generation college students and/or students with disabilities each year. TRIO SSS provides holistic and comprehensive advising, tutoring and instructional support, and first year seminar courses to help undergraduate students be successful at and graduate from the University of Washington.  Student Support Services is one of 9 TRIO programs funded by the U.S. Department of Education and is housed in the Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity.
