Pathologists’ Assistant Program comes to UW
Are you fascinated by the science behind medical diagnoses? Do you love the idea of working in healthcare but aren’t sure if med school is the right fit? We’re excited to introduce a brand-new Pathologists’ Assistant Training Program—a fast-growing career path that blends laboratory work, surgical pathology, and disease investigation. Pathologists’ assistants work alongside pathologists and other medical experts to analyze biopsies, dissect organs removed during surgery, assist in autopsies, and help uncover answers that shape patient care, all without direct patient-care interactions.Why consider this career?
