COGIT-2 Trial

 

Dr. Angela Hanson at the UW Memory and Brain Wellness Center is currently enrolling people for a NIH funded stufy testing if cognitive training can improve cognitive performance in participants with memory loss.

 

Who is eligible?

  • You are age 55 to 89
  • You or your loved ones have noticed some problems with your memory
  • You are not currently doing crosswords, Sudoku, or other cognitive training methods like Brain HQ or Luminosity more than once per week

 

What is involved?

  • This study will last a total of about 18 months. During that time, you will need to come into the University of Washington South Lake Union campus approximately every 3 months. These visits include testing of memory and other intellectual abilities, questionnaires, blood draws, and MRI scans. You will be compensated for your time and will be reimbursed for parking and transportation if needed.
