Creating connections with the African American community to find the best ways to assess cognitive aging and mental health during a pandemic

After seeing how the pandemic limited access to health care, Dr. Debby Tsuang worked to find the best ways to remotely assess cognitive and mental health symptoms in African Americans. A new project, funded by the Garvey Institute for Brain Health Solutions, aims to pave the way towards more inclusive and representative diagnosis and research.
