Similar to the new color palette, we have updated the UW Medicine primary fonts to better align with the university. Using consistent typography reinforces the brand in all communications. The Encode Sans Normal font family should only be used as a display font for headlines and titles; it is not recommended for large bodies of text. The Open Sans font family is best used for sub-headers and large bodies of text.

Please use Calibri for PowerPoints, agendas, fact sheets and email signatures. For assistance installing fonts on your computer, please contact your local IT support group.
