November 19, 2020 — December 15, 2020, 12-pm PT: The Institute on Methods and Protocols for Advancement of Clinical Trials in ADRD (IMPACT-AD) is a novel multidisciplinary Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias clinical trial training program (www.impact-ad.org). In preparation for this year’s application cycle, IMPACT-AD is hosting a webinar interested in the course to learn more about the training program and to have questions answered by the course co-directors Joshua Grill, PhD and Rema Raman, PhD.

Request for Proposals for the 2021-2022 UW ADRC Development Projects
August 31, 2020 — The UW ADRC offers one-year development projects that use its resources to advance the understanding, diagnosis, and/or treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. Depending on funding availability, the UW ADRC will fund 3-4 projects of up to $50,000 each. Funds would be awarded for a one-year project period, 5/1/2021 through 4/30/2022. Letters of Interest should be submitted by 11:59pm PST on September 14, 2020.

Allen Institute, UW Medicine ADRC, and Kaiser Permanente Launch New Alzheimer’s Collaboration
June 25, 2020 — The new consortium, funded by a five-year $40.5 million grant from the NIA, hopes to identify the cells that are involved in the process that leads to Alzheimer's or help protect against it.
