August 08, 2017 — Dr. Thomas Grabowski, Director of the UW ADRC, and colleagues have received a grant National Science Foundation to probe the networks of neurons that support our mental abilities, such as attention and memory. They will test their idea that the size of a network’s components (cortical fields) matters to its strength or susceptibility to dysfunction.
