2024 New Investigator Awards

October 22, 2023 — In partnership with the Alzheimer's Association, the National Alzheimer’s Coordinating Center (NACC) is pleased to announce the expanded New Investigator Award Program. This year we have 10 awards, each offering $135,000 in direct costs. Additionally, through a collaboration with the REC Steering Committee, new investigators will have the option to 'Request a Mentor' for guidance during the application process.

Request for Proposals for the 2024-2025 Development Projects

September 08, 2023 — The UW ADRC offers one-year development projects that use its resources to advance the understanding, diagnosis, and/or treatment of Alzheimer’s disease and related degenerative dementias. In the 2024- 2025 period, the UW ADRC will fund 3-4 projects with a budget of up to $50,000 each.

Accepting Applications for the William H. Gates Sr. Fellowship from the AD Data Initiative

May 15, 2023 — The William H. Gates, Sr. Fellowship from the AD Date Initiative is now accepting applications for a two-year fellowship program ($100,000 support) to explore data from human studies and make new discoveries in the Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias field. April 20, 2023 — The UW Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center is interested in expanding its research focus on resilience in neurodegenerative disease.
