New Paper (Wijsman, Larson, Kukull): Analysis of shared heritability in common disorders of the brain
June 28, 2018 — The genome-wide association data analysis found common genetic risk among people with psychiatric disorders, especially those with ADHD, bipolar, anxiety, major depression, and schizophrenia. Neurological disorders, such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, each had very distinct genetic risk variants. Co-authors of this large study published in Science include Ellen Wijsman, Eric B. Larson, and Walter Kukull.
