Call for 2019-2020 ADRC Pilot Project Proposals

September 26, 2018 — The UW ADRC seeks proposals for pilot projects that use its resources to advance the understanding, diagnosis, and/or treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. The UW ADRC will fund at least two awards for junior researchers of up $30,000 each, and one award of up to $75,000, which is also open to established researchers new to the ADRC, and those not affiliated with the UW.

CDC researchers report: Dementia rates are set to double by 2060, but the increase for people of color will be six- or seven-fold

Senate passes $425 million increase for NIH Alzheimer’s and dementia research funding for 2019

New Training Program in Population Neuroscience of Aging and Alzheimer’s Disease

Sage Bionetworks launches Agora web portal at AAIC 2018

July 20, 2018 — The new web portal that brings researchers together to discover and evaluate the results from the AMP-AD consortium. They can find evidence for a favorite gene or evaluate the dynamic list of genes that have been nominated as nascent Alzheimer's associated drug targets.
