UW is Top Producer of Bachelor’s Degrees in Chemistry

According to a recent report by Chemical and Engineering News (Nov. 23, 2009), the University of Washington Department of Chemistry conferred the most bachelor’s degrees in chemistry for the year 2007-2008 (the most recent data available).  UW conferred 256 degrees of the 13, 921 total bachelor’s degrees granted, the top producer of over 300 departments. UCLA and UT-Austin were the second and third producers with 238 and 240 degrees granted, respectively.
