Similar to the temperature limit test that was conducted on AV500,  we completed a test to determine the maximum allowable sample temperature that is safe within the operational constraints of the DRX499 spectrometer.   We have determined that +70 C will be the absolute maximum sample temperature that is sustainable without causing serious concerns, for an assumed data collection duration of 12 hours.   If a rather long haul run is needed at 70 C beyond this duration,  users should consult with the facility staff for viable methods.
