AV800 : REMINDER – WALK ON USER TIME
This is a reminder that the Walk-on user time with the 800 NMR spectrometer will be available from coming Monday, 13th Aug., 10.30 am until Wednesday, 15th Aug, 11.00 am. Please contact Rajan if you are planning to engage the instrument during this time.

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ : AV500 VT UPDATE part 2
Please CONFIRM that the probe temperature is set to 298 K upon completion of a high temperature experiment. Today someone ran an experiment at 343 K and left it there when the experiment was completed. This can and will quench a magnet if left unattended.

DRX499 UPDATE : System ready for use
Users can access the instrument as usual. It is the standard policy that the lost NMR times due to instrument outage will be waived from being charged to the user budgets, even if your name still remains in the reservation calendar, for the said period.

ALERT ! All instruments down for next hour.
Possibly due to a power fluctuation the preamplifer and related hardware modules need software reprogramming. The instruments are unavailable at least until 11.30 am today. Please look for further updates and plan your NMR runs accordingly.
