REMINDER : FACILITY SHUTDOWN TODAY AT 4.00 PM
The instruments will be turned off starting 4.00 pm and will be revived tomorrow, Saturday, Feb 1st. Similar to last week, if everything goes well, the systems should be available by noon. Further updates will be posted here tomorrow. Thank you all for your kind co-operation.

STATUS UPDATE : NMR SYSTEMS REVIVED AFTER POWER INTERRUPTION
All the systems except the AV700 are ready for use immediately. The latter will be available by 1.00 pm, latest.

CORRECTION ON FACILITY SHUT DOWN DATE
The facility shut down will happen tomorrow i.e. 24th January at 4.00 pm as planned. For the next week, we earlier posted wrongly the shut down date as Feb 1st but it will be on the eve i.e. Jan 31st, Friday, 4.00 pm. Please note this correction.

UPDATE : AV300 LOGIN ISSUE IS RESOLVED
The hanging topspin process is cleared and the login is ok now.

IMPORTANT NOTE ! – FACILITY SHUT DOWN DUE TO PLANNED POWER OUTAGE
All of you must have seen the confirmation mail from Brian Holm that on Jan 25th, Saturday and Feb. 1st, Saturday, Bagley Hall will be without power for a couple of hours. AV300 – UPDATE : HANGING PROCESS CLEARED
The login crash is resolved and users should be able to use Topspin without issues. Please post a feedback if you find otherwise.

AV300 UPDATE : USER SAMPLE BREAKAGE
We recovered a broken sample tube from the probe head. Indications are that improper sample injection by a user has led to this breakage. The instrument will be released for use after confirming that the probe has not sustained serious damage. A brief update to that effect will follow.

AV300 ALERT : SYSTEM DOWN
Sample transport is malfunctioning and sample is not seating on the probe properly. We will post an update once the issue is resolved.

AV500 UPDATE : SYSTEM IS UP !
The problem most probably originated from a voltage fluctuation at an unknown time. The system is brought to its normal state. Please keep us posted if you encounter any further difficulty. Thank for your patience.
