ALERT : AV700 – PROBE CHANGE
The solutions probe will give way to the solid state MAS probe in this instrument sometime in the first week of March 2014. The exact date will be confirmed in a follow up post. Users who need to utilize the MAS feature at 700 MHz should contact Adrienne immediately to schedule time.

REMINDER ! AV800 TIME AVAILABLE
Users who want to avail the high field NMR at 800 MHz with the cryoprobe, capable of detecting very low concentration sample can approach the facility manager today with their plan of experiments. UPDATE ! AV301 – READY FOR USE
The lock system has been refreshed to the default configuration and tested to work ok with different solvents. Please keep us posted if any of you still have difficulty locking. Please include details of the lock solvent used.

ALERT ! : AV301 – LOCK SYSTEM DOWN
The Lock system’s firmware is corrupted leading to unpredictable lock performance, as noted by a few users already. Probable cause is related to the disruption that occurred on all the machines over the long weekend. The firmware update will take couple of hours after which the system should be ready.
