ALERT ! AV700 USERS : IMMINENT PROBE CHANGE – Monday, 4 June ’18

The current 1H sensitive TXI-HCN probe will give way to the BBO-Z-gradient probe.  This probe is optimized for X-nuclei but also capable of 1H observe. UPDATE ! AV700 – BACK UP VT SYSTEM IS OPERATIONAL – WITH A LIMITED RANGE

The backup chiller is provided in the interim, with which you can reach about -10 C on the lower side and the high T limit remains as before. Further updates will be provided once we make progress on the original chiller problem. NMR Facility Manager 5/11/2018

UPDATE ! AV700 USERS – INSTRUMENT IS OPERATIONAL WITH SOLUTIONS NMR PROBEHEAD

The current probehead is TXI-1H {13C,15} with Z-gradient. The nominal VT range is -60C to +70C without any special care or considerations.  The probehead is capable of reaching to a larger VT limits but there will be an accompanying reduction in the continuous NMR observation time to protect the magnet and shim electronics. UPDATE ! AV700 USERBASE : INSTRUMENT WILL MOVE TO SOLUTIONS BEFORE WEEKEND
