UW CHEMISTRY NMR

The 19F probe has been compromised and will need extensive repairs. In place of the old probe, the new BBI probe is installed in the system. IMPORTANT NOTE : This is a new generation probehead that does NOT allow you to do manual tune/match i.e. WOBB. You must use the command ‘atma’  instead and the probe will be AUTOMATICALLY tuned and matched to the nuclei selected.    THERE ARE NO TUNE/MATCH KNOBS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PROBE HEAD.   PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND. 

The built-in macros such as proton, carbon, phosph, etc.  will automatically perform the ATMA for you.  So, it is highly recommended that you use the macros to make your setup easier. PLEASE CONTACT FACILITY STAFF IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS.
