AV301 UPDATE : BROKEN PARTS IN PROBEHEAD
Most probably due to a combination of poor quality NMR tubes that were spun and a less than careful sample positioning in the sample spinner, by various users, the expensive quartz insert glass tubes inside the probe have been shattered. All the woes of the past few days, with the sample seating, difficulty in spinning and the lineshape deterioration stem from this single cause. The parts have been replaced and the probe has been shimmed up. The instrument is ready for regular use.
