As already mentioned, the new gradient upgrade is designed to function with only the ATMA-BBI probe, as currently there are no other 300 MHz probes that feature gradient capability.  So, the probehead has been changed to PABBI and the probe ID card on the console lists the shim file to load and use along with the usual macros.

Note however, that the shim set is not thoroughly optimized manually in the way we do when we swap probeheads.  This is because, once the gradient system is fully functional the automated TOPSHIM program will take care of shimming.

For the present, users should be ready to do needed hand shimming before taking spectra.
