UW CHEMISTRY NMR

It has been a normal practice that we post a warning when the instrument goes down and give a brief explanation about the nature of the problem.  In the past couple of days, I had to take down the instrument from regular use without any announcement because, what appeared to be a simple software issue keep balooning up, that made it difficult to estimate the amount of down time a priori. The target time for release of instrument kept moving as we had to pass further tests on the computer.   But, I am happy to report that the system is back to a reliable/stable configuration and users can start booking time on the instrument.

I apologize for the anguish and inconvenience this has caused.
