UPDATE ! AV700 – SYSTEM BACK IN OPERATION – NEW BASE FREQUENCY ! PLEASE READ
The Lock system is back to normal.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT CHANGE !
New System Base Frequency : 699.962448 MHz.
This reconfiguration is needed to compensate for the long term loss of energy by the Supercon Magnet.
How does this affect you ?
- If you simply open your existing data set and start copying it to run another experiment, you will NOT see any signal.
- You MUST run either ‘edasp’ or ‘edsp’ command.
Once you see the graphical window shown below, first, select Default followed by Save and Close button.
- If you inherit this dataset later, to create a new run, it will identify the Base Frequency correctly.
- You must remember to do the above for any of the new experiments you want to setup. For instance, 13C with 1H deocupling or a 1H-13C HSQC and so on.
Please ask for help if you are in doubt.
