UW CHEMISTRY NMR

The RF related issue is not fully resolved yet.  As I mentioned before,  there is a potential probehead change that might be called for.   There is no clear correlation between the electronics problem mentioned above and the probehead’s condition at this point.

This probe has been giving a rather noisy ‘wobb’ signal as many of you might have noticed earlier.  We shall therefore get the system back up, most probably with an alternate triple resonance probehead in place.  Further details will be given at the opportune time.

I anticipate the system to be down for further fixes at least until tomorrow evening.  The reservation calendar for this instrument is closed currently (as is the normal practice).
