Hello NMR Users (and prospective Users !) of the Facility

Though we all have been forced to slow down the usual flurry of activity and things might appear to be in a state of suspended animation,

THE NMR FACILITY IS ALIVE AND WELL AND ALL THE EXISTING PROTOCOLS AND POLICIES OF USAGE ARE STILL IN PLACE !!

This means that, you MUST reserve your time,  PAY from your Budget number and ONLY then  use the instrument.   A case in point is the attached sheet of scribble left on one of the instruments, yesterday.

We don’t know the identity of the Good Samaritan who left this note,  in case we needed additional information from you to troubleshoot the instrument.   Most of all, it is in Bad taste to just use the instrument without taking responsibility for the used time.

Thank you all for taking this note in the right spirit and respecting the privileges of all your fellow NMR users.

REMEMBER !  FIRST RESERVE THE INSTRUMENT TIME AND THEN ONLY PROCEED TO THE NMR LAB.
