Dear NMR Users

The (super)long wait to migrate the last system in the facility to UW IT’s UDRIVE storage system is over, at long last !

Here are a few more useful pointers :

• When you login for the first time in the new system, you will see the following terminal window, announcing the process of BACK UP OF YOUR OLD DATA into your UDRIVE storage space :
• You will see the list of files scrolling inside this window. That shows the progress of the copying process. Depending on how big is your current data directory, this process can be over in seconds or might take minutes to complete. BE PATIENT ! UDRIVE first login file copy
• Once the copying is successful, you will see the confirmation in the terminal window. 
• You will be automatically logged out and you can login again.  This is a ONE TIME EVENT ONLY !
• From here on, you simply go to your work or home computer, access the UDRIVE and download the data as and when you need it.
