CLARIFICATION – NMR RESERVATION POLICY
Dear Users
Referring to my earlier post shown below about the UW and Departmental policy in reserving and using NMR instruments within the Safety parameters of the Safe Start plan, I want to add an important clarification. Refresh your memory below and then read on :

Since there is no specific temporal sequence with which the calendar gets filled on a given day, there might be blocks that are already booked before and after the slot you are trying to reserve. The take home message is this : Please make sure that your block of time is book-ended by a 10 minute empty buffer on each end.
(As an example, if a 30 minute free block is available between two bookings, you can block only 10 minutes at the center of this block leaving the rest as a gap between you and the other two users).
