UW CHEMISTRY NMR

Those of you who see me loitering around in the NMR lab without my face covered may wonder if I am the first violater of this safety rule.

Lest you feel that I am setting a bad example, I would like to pass on this quick clarification from my Superiors.

I was told that it is OK for me NOT to have my face covered if I prefer,  if I am vaccinated.

I would like to quickly add that I am NOT sending this message as an announcement of  ‘policy change‘ that was put in place by the Department sometime ago.  I heard that an official departmentwide notification will be soon coming out that should include the rules for NMR facility usage as well.
