Dear Users !

With the weather turning colder and winter knocking on the door, the toasty environs of the NMR Lab (Bagley 037 and 033)  perhaps offers a tempting invitation to cuddle up with a hot mug of coffee and a snack….I understand.

Unfortunately, the regulations stipulate that there should be NO FOOD OR DRINKS ANYWHERE in the NMR Lab !

We recently noticed the disturbing sight that a user, having enjoyed some refreshment, has left the bag behind for someone to clean up.  This ‘someone’ of course turned out to be NMR Facility Staff.

We staff wear several hats in a day’s work, but cleaning up food remains is DEFINITELY NOT ONE OF THEM !

I hope this Alert is sufficient for everyone to do the right thing, moving forward.  A repeat of this will not be dealt ONLY with sarcasm, next time.
