Dear NEO500 users

Owing to the true ‘walk-on’  nature of the NEO500 SYSTEM, we may not be compelled to access the NMR Reservation Page for this instrument.   I wanted to send you this gentle reminder in connection with the same.

• Please note that, you have a near live view of the NEO500 automation queue, which is spruced up and colorful and more informative than before ( many thanks to Nick Breen).  Here is a quick link and you can also access this from the NEO500 instrument page here.
• NEO500 DOES have a reservation page.  It is used to block time for routine maintenance as well as to attend issues that you might raise through Log Book entries.
• So, before you come down with your samples
  • please take a look at the queue status.  If it’s idle or running, all is well.  If it says ‘queue stopped’, most probably something is going on at the instrument. 
  • If a maintenance event stopped the queue, you can confirm that by looking at the NEO500 reservation page.
  • PLEASE NOTE :  Even if a facility staff initiates a pause of the queue, the system will stop the run only after the current acquisition is complete. So, if you see a bit of discrepancy between the calendar and the actual queue halt, kindly give consideration for the above.
