Dear Users

I will once again draw your attention to the following post that was broadcast about a month ago.  This pertains to the proper way a sample is handled with NEO500 and the SampleCase automated sample changer.

Over the weekend, a user apparently tried to remove a sample “close to the red lever” by the user’s own statement.  The Red Lever was tripped and the system went into an error state.

This is worth repeating : 

• DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSERT OR REMOVE SAMPLE TUBES IN POSITIONS CLOSE TO THIS RED LEVER
• If your lucky number is close to this Lever, then you USE THE BLUE BUTTON MARKED AS ‘ADVANCE CAROUSEL’  in the above picture and bring that holder far away from the vicinity of the safety lever mechanism and then load your sample.
