Fresh from the expensive repair,  the iProbe is not delivering what it promised.  Although you might see Topshim seem to complete it’s job,  digging deeper, it is clear that the shimming is not at an acceptable level. Since we have a narrow window of warranty for such repairs,  it is imperative that  we look at the probe closely and send it back to the manufacturer, if need be, unfortunately.  At the least, we will not be stuck with a subpar performing probe while we would have paid for its repair.

I will keep you posted about further developemnts.  As of now, NEO500 is not available for use. 

Thinking ahead :

If it turns out that we have to send the probe back,  we will once again place the surrogate TXO-19F-1H probe in its place.  That’s the current plan.
