Dear Users

Starting with immediate effect, you MUST use the following steps to reserve time on the NMR machines :

• If you haven’t done so already, please contact in-person, the Accounting people in Chemistry front office and ensure that your Netid is entered in the new Financial system and it is tied to a valid so-called Tag id.  This replaces the old six digit budget numbers we have been using all along.
• Once you do this, you should be able to login to the reservation server pluto as before and book NMR time.   Here is an example link for AV300 : 
• The new system allows you to login for reservation ONLY if your Netid is initiated in the above manner.  So, if your login fails, please contact the Accounting people to sort it out.

Two Important Points:

1. The Accounting Staff are trying to complete this Netid –> Tag operation with a single-minded purpose but it is a considerable effort.  So, please be patient.
2. If your Netid is not yet ready for reservation,  you can ask another member of your research group to block the time on your behalf for now, if you are hard-pressed for NMR data.
