NEO500 Unstuck

Last night, the NEO500 encountered an issue where the icon software froze, allowing researchers to create new experiments, but not to delete or submit them. This issue has been resolved. However, the record of samples in holders and their associated experiments was lost in the process.

Due to absences, the overflow of NMR tubes has not been cleared in over a week and is so overflowing, people have added Erlenmeyer flasks to contain them. All will be cleared tomorrow, Friday, around noon. Please come collect any sample tubes you still have in the NEO500 SampleCase or the overflow rack as soon as possible. This is part of the on-going difficulties EH&S has given us about unlabeled chemicals (specifically these NMR tubes with samples) in the NMR room.

Additionally, the “extra” sample rack located by the monitors on the desk of the NEO500 workstation has gone missing and is not in the NMR rooms (BAG 33/37.) I, Adrienne, use this rack for specific purposes. If you happen to have it in your lab, please return it to where it was. If you have knowledge that it was broken, please let me know so I can order a new one.

Thank you for your attention to these extra items.
