UW CHEMISTRY NMR

The work installing the new Sample Case Plus with 60 sample holders is complete. The GG500 is currently on the reservation system as regular operation.

However, with the new Sample Case Plus, the protocol for inserting samples has changed! If you have not been trained to use the GG500 with the new Sample Case Plus, please have one of the NMR Facility Management Team give you the quick training, which should take no more than a few minutes at the beginning of your NMR reservation.

We expect there will be some normal hitches as seen with any new hardware. Please note any errors that Topspin pops up and explain the issue as thoroughly as possible as soon as possible via the GG500 logbook or via email, phone call, or office visit to Rajan Paranji or Adrienne Roehrich.
