Like all instruments, NEO500 also has a walk-on usage policy where the software allows only a maximum of 60 minutes time during the day for a given sample.  The software automatically queues longer experiments to so-called ‘Night Mode’ and runs them overnight.

We are hearing  that some users are stepping around this limitation by programming runs that last just below 60 minutes and make the system effectively prioritize several samples of theirs, during the day.

This pratice should immediately stop.  The freedom we enjoy in submitting a sample any time of the day without worrying about the Calendar, comes with the understanding that we gracefully share this convenience with all users.

If the practice continues,  we will be compelled to take more active measures to restore access that is even for all.
