Dear Users

The previous TBI probe had to be removed for a service operation, and I have placed the TXO-19F PROBE for the present as an alternative.  Please note the following :

• Nuclei : 19F, 1H and 13C
  • You can run 1H decoupled 19F experiments
  • To switch between 19F and 13C, a cable swap is needed (please ask for my help)
  • By default, the system will be connected to run 1H and 13C.
  • Feel free to contact me if you want to run 19F and I will show you how – its a simple process.
  • The pulse widths for the 1H and 19F are optimized.
• TODO :
  • I am yet to complete the optimization of the shim matrix, and so Topshim will throw out errors. Workaround:  Please apply the same simple low order hand shimming process that you use in 300, here also. Along with spinning of the sample, you will get a decent 1D spectrum.
  • I released the instrument to meet demand, but the sundry optimization steps will be completed by Monday in intermittent blocks of time.
  • Optimization of 13C p90 pulse is yet to be completed, but the default value provided will give you reasonable 13C spectrum.
  • Additional shim files, specific to different lock solvents, will be created on Monday.
