Dear Users

The probe is optimized for different lock solvents that should make shimming with Topshim quick and easy.

• I have created individual shim files that are the optimal starting points for the most often used lock solvents.
• The files are named as below :
  • txo.water (for aqueous samples, including those in D2O)
  • txo.acteone
  • txo.cdcl3
  • txo.c6d6
  • txo.dmso
• After you lock on your solvent, please enter : rsh txo.<your solvent> 
• Type topshim tunea
• Please enter ‘wobb’ and manually tune and match the probe.
• Run rga prior to acquiring data using zg.

I will add more solvent dependent shim files to the above list, in due course.  If you urgently need a solvent not in the list, that needs to be added to the line-up, please contact me.
