UW CHEMISTRY NMR

There is an ongoing problem with UW Authentication Servers that is campus wide, affecting mail clients as well as other systems that rely on these servers for login.   In an unfortunately swift U-turn, I have to inform the user base that both AV301 and AV500 can only allow the local ‘genuser’ account login until further notice.  Due to a caching mechanism the other hosts AV300 and DRX499 will continue to accept UWNetid but this might fail later. If that happens, ‘genuser’ accounts will be enabled on those.  Please be on the lookout for fresh posts on this topic.
