UW CHEMISTRY NMR

With due apologies for the delay in this update, I would like to summarize the current condition of the instrument AV301

• A problem with the 1H high power amplifier has been identified. We have come up with a temporary work around to make the instrument usable while a permanent fix is being worked out.
• The PABBI – ATMA probe has developed a problem as well, which could have been caused by the malfunctioning high power amplifier above.   We will replace this probe with TXD – 1H {13C, 19F} probe and prime it for regular use.  This probe will be in until further notice
• Combining the above two tasks, the instrument won’t be ready for regular use until next Tuesday.  We regret the inconvenience this causes.
