UPDATE ! DRX499 – WHAT WENT WRONG WITH THE PROBE ?

First of, the good news is that 13C channel of the probe is made to work normally after fixing the following problem.  Here is a snap shot of the wobb :

The 13C channel tune was broken, most probably because of excessive force used on the 13C tuning rod.   We have been appealing to the user base on various occassions about the importance of turning these knobs gently and don’t try to force it, if it reaches  a stop.   To give a better idea of what we are dealing with, I am reproducing two pictures :  One on the left shows the inside of the probehead circuitry and the second one zooms in on the joint that was originally broken due to excessive force.   As we can see, these are delicate parts.
