UPDATE ! AV500 – PROBE CHANGED TO TRIPLE RESONANCE – HCP

The BBI probe’s VT dewar is faulty, which most probably contributed to an over temperature event.  Since we have to wait for the replacement part to arrive (might be a couple of weeks), the following probehead has been placed and optimized for regular use :

TXI – 1H {13C, 31P) – XYZ gradient

  • This probe is designed for best 1H sensitivity, similar to the BBI probe that came out.
  • In the default configuration you can run 13C NMR without any modifications.
  • If you want to run 31P, you have to pull the RF cable connected to 13C and connect it to the 31P connector on the probe – similar to what you will do with the TXO – 19F  probe in DRX499.
  • You can use Topshim as before.
  • The low temperature rnage of this probe is limited – a nominal value of -40 C is available for now.   If you want to go lower than this, please contact me or Adrienne.
  • The high temperature limit is +70 C, as before.

Please contact, if you have further questions.
