UW CHEMISTRY NMR

Following the building wide power shutdown, several networking components are still in the process of being revived.  This translates to extremely slow or unresponsive NMR host computers and networked peripherals.  IT staff are working busily addressing this.

We will post an update once all systems are normal

I will exploit this situation to highlight  why it is a bad idea to pull the plug/reboot a NMR host computer unceremoniously, thinking that you are fixing a problem. In reality you might be causing more of the same.
