UPDATE ! AV500 – INTERIM SOLUTION IN PLACE

While we are waiting for replacement of the compromised circuit board,  we have patched this unit together to function as a two-channel instrument.  The BBI-Z gradient probe is paired with this so that you can pulse two nuclei at a time i.e.  13C with 1H decoupling OR 31P with 1H decoupling, as examples.

In a true sense, the hardware maintenance is still on-going but the instrument is eminently usable and for most of you, you may not notice much of a difference (but for a slight reduction in the 13C or 31P or other X-nuclei sensitivity).

LOOKING AHEAD : We shall try to put the TBI-triple resonance probe back after fixing the issues and I hope we can time it along with the replacement of the new circuit board. Stay tuned for further updates.
