UPDATE ! AV301 : SAMPLE LANDING AND SPINNING ISSUES RESOLVED !
Hello Users !
We have done a ‘deep cleaning’ of the sample handling system yesterday and the results speak for themselves. The sample lands properly and it is detected correctly by the system. The Sample Spinning settles to its target rate pretty quickly now.
We also have shimmed up the system and so it should give you anywhere from decent to stellar spectra, depending on the amount of attention you pay to the steps that are needed :
- make sure that the sample temperature is stable
- you have tuned/matched the probe well (either ATMA or ATMM – please contact either Adrienne or me if you have questions on these)
- you have locked on the correct solvent
- you have loaded the default standard shim set: rsh stdpabbi
- you have performed Topshim and it completed without errors
- you have also touched the X and Y shims without spinning the sample (you can spin after your touch up the X and Y shims by hand)
Do not hesitate to contact one of us, if you need any help.
Happy Spinning..
