Dear Users

Thanks to a generous donation of a crucial component from a fellow public University like ours,   I could revive the ability for this instrument to do meaningful Topshim based shimming on weak solvents like CDCl3.

The results based on the tests I ran on a few samples at my disposal and a few user samples look pretty encouraging.  I will attempt  to run more of these tests, but as of now,  AV301 is the one that is capable of giving you optimal shimming results using Topshim.

I will see if a similar remedy can be applied to AV300, which suffers from the same malady.  I am on the lookout for electronic components currently.
