Users

Most of you would have noticed that the corner of Rm. 37 (NMR lab) has been slowly filling with the electronics and parts, which is a precursor to the full installtion of a 700 MHz NMR machine within the premises.

An engineer is on site today making preparations for moving the NMR magnet to this new location from it’s original location opposite the stock room.  Please be advised that we may have to ask for a free access to the area sometime this afternoon,  during which you might be asked not to access the 300 NMR-s and GG500.  Once the hardware moves into the open area, we should be back to normal.  The disruption should not be more than an hour at the maximum.

We have NOT blocked off the usage calendar, to provide as much access as possible without a break for your NMR needs today.  Take that into account and provide the needed cooperation for the above and thank you for the same.

We will try to post an expected time of this move today with as much advance notice as feasible.
