  • Tori says:

The Lift button on the control pad is not working.

  • Amy says:

NMR sample tube is not lifting from the instrument. The sample is left in the spectrometer.

  • Jeffrey says:

I ended up placing a NMR tube labeled with D2O I found from a rack near the other instruments.

  • Jeffrey says:

Hello, the decoy sample for the 301 NMR machine is missing. Before I used the 301, there was someone else occupying the machine. I think the person might have taken the decoy with him after he finished. However….I can’t identify who the person is from the 301 schedule web page since he never reserved time.

I am not sure what to do now with no decoy to put back in the machine.

  • Adrienne Roehrich says:

The lock system issues have been resolved.

Please contact a Facility Manager should you have further troubles.

  • John says:

The 301 will not lock onto my solvent. I spoke with another student in the NMR room who had the same problem.

  • Ryan Shafranek says:

Auto tune and match (ATMA) command is not working. Wobb curve is highly irregular and will not stabilize.

  • John says:

My spectra for the past week and a half have had a very poor signal to noise ratio and resolution on the 301. I thought it was personal error, but went back and made my NMR samples more concentrated. It still looks bad and my peak splittings are not resolved.

  • Braden says:

The shims obtained after topshim is used for acetonitrile are not very good and I can barely resolve split peaks. Manually shimming after topshim does not seem to improve much, if at all.

  • Andrew says:

Can I use these big tissues the same way I use Kimwipes or are the just for runny noses?
