Received same error messages as below when attempting to wobb

  • Kathleen Olivas says:

cannot run any samples, get the following errors when typing “rga”:

“Process Table: Timeout occurred when starting child processes: Interrupted system call”
“Error is copmem: cannot send command to coprocessor (timeout: flag=1), check for bad rcu/tcu or crashed startd on ccu”
“Error in childprint: cannot send message to parent (timeout: flag=69). check for bad hardware or crashed startd on ccu”
“stop_coproc: not all children have terminated!”

  • Paranji says:

It appears that the heater for low VT is compromised. We will test run the unit to confirm and fix the cause.

  • Caroline says:

VT failed on me this afternoon. Had the probe cooled and stable at -20 oC for half an hour or so. Then I tried to cool it down to -30 oC and it got down to maybe -28 oC before the temp started to increase uncontrollably to RT. At this point the temp control unit was reading “OPEn lnP”. Tried to turn it off/on again and this error went away, but didn’t affect the temperature control. When I disconnected the lN2 arm from the probe there was still flow, but it was weak, so the transfer arm might have gotten clogged. Also I think the big blue dewar is full of water/ice..

  • Sophia Tran says:

The instrument is having issues logging in like it has in the past. I was unable to log in and had to cancel my NMR time.

  • Kate Allen says:

Couldn’t log onto instrument. Received error message at 9:10 am.
