  • Laura says:

The 499 is not scanning the window I request. I set sw 14, o1p 6, and the peaks that should appear at 6 ppm appear at 0 ppm, and there is nothing else between 0 and 12 ppm. The console indicates that the instrument is locked (to chloroform). Please see 2LMM248a.

  • Adrienne Roehrich says:

Unfortunately, the high temperature in the NMR lab is causing overheating issues. We are working with Facilities to improve the room temperature for the stability of the instruments.

For now, the drx499 has been restored and is functional.

  • Ryan says:

Upon executing ‘wobb’ command, I receive the following error message:

    connection to spect (aqport0) failed
unable to connect to remote host (No route to host)
    (‘startd’ demon active on CCU?)

  • Bob Lamm says:

Unable to get to tune and match. after “wobb” get the following error:

“unable to connect to remote host (No route to host)”

  • Laura Murphy says:

Instrument could not lock, and shims would not move.

  • Delwin Elder says:

Topspin won’t start! It says the number of licenses have expired.

  • Tianwei Shen says:

The “rsh stdtxo” does not seem to be working. And when I tried to tune the shimming by the console, the lines wouldn’t move.

  • Amy Chu says:

Cannot launch topspin. Tried launching through Applications, it just showed that the license was exhausted?

  • Ryan Shafranek says:

Nearly impossible to tune and match. It is difficult to make fine adjustments with the tuning rods, and I could not center the wobble curve.

  • Kate Montgomery says:

Cannot tune/match (solvent is D2O) adjusting yellow rods has little effect on the ‘wobble curve’
